So I just wanted to go over the original storyboards. What they had planned was Optimus Prime would shoot Kickback and Dirge and the screen would pan upward, and you would see Blitzwing flying towards the camera. He would Dodge a blast from Optimus Prime, and try to tackle Prime and not be successful. And the camera would pull back to show that three other Decepticons were going to charge Optimus Prime: Skywarp, Astrotrain and Starscream. And they would all tackle Prime. And this scene would stop here with them sort of breathing heavily on Optimus Prime.

So the reason I didn't recreate this scene exactly as shown is that, first of all, I didn't just want to draw his arm here. I also didn't like how this is happening about half off screen. So that's why I chose to use the full body shot of Optimus Prime as Blitzwing is coming in to tackle him.

And here instead having Skywarp, Astrotrain and Starscream all tackle Prime, I removed Skywarp and Starscream, because I feel that if they were involved in this battle with Prime that they would get severely damaged. As we know, Starscream was not visibly damaged from the battle at Autobot City. Skywarp was damaged at Autobot City which begs the question, why did I remove him? And that's because I want to use Skywarp in another scene where we're going to show him get damaged. Also I just I don't think that this is a very pretty looking storyboard.

So back to my version of the triplechanger tackle scene. We have the full body shot of Prime. We only have the two triplechangers tackle Optimus Prime, which I think is fitting because to me they're special ops, they're a special breed of Transformer. And then we get a transition scene to the location of Devastator and a nice stitch with him ripping through the wall.

One thing we don't have in the scene yet is something for Megatron to do. There is a possibility that we could have Megatron fighting with some other Autobots.
